The Stables in Southwell

Beautiful, unusual holiday cottage full of character in the heart of the historic Minster town of Southwell in Nottinghamshire.  The Stables offers self-catering guest accommodation, available to book for a minimum stay of 2 nights or more (longer minimum stays apply to certain peak dates).

The Stables has 2 bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, a separate spacious bathroom with a cast iron feature bath and sleeps up to 4 guests.   It's in the very heart of the town, but tucked away down a small private road, with its own private parking space.  The property boasts wooden floors and beams throughout the first floor and lots of unusual features. With a fabulous, spacious and comfortable lounge, fully equipped character kitchen and a Juliette balcony overlooking some of Southwell's fabulous grade II listed buildings, it's a wonderful place to stay.

Steeped in history, the property dates from the 1800's and was formerly the stables for the old Blacksmiths. Its quirky layout provides the living accommodation on the first floor with the two bedrooms and bathrooms being on the ground floor.
