If you're looking for a place to stay for a catch-up with friends or a family gathering, Cedar Place is ideal! It's location in Southwell, Nottinghamshire is the perfect meeting place for those who are spread all around the country, as it's very central and easy to get to. Guests can arrive by car and take advantange of the large private driveway and EV charger or there are train stations a short taxi or bus ride away. Newark North Gate train station sits on the East Coast Main Line and offers high-speed, direct services via LNER and East Midlands Railway (EMR) to places such as London, York, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh & Glasgow.

Once here, there's plenty of space for up to 8 guests, plus a travel cot is available for our very young visitors. We also have a high chair, stair gates and height adjustable stools for smaller ones! The single bedroom benefits from a child-proof window lock and the garden is entirely enclosed, with high level bolts on the gates, so you can relax knowing that your younger family members are safe.

We provide a selection of games, books and jigsaws for all ages to keep everyone entertained, plus the large screen SMART TV, Blu-Ray DVD player and music system. The kitchen is equipped with more than enough of everything for 8 people, including seating, so you can enjoy a meal together and relax in the lounge or the garden afterwards (each of which also has enough seating for everybody, with the lounge benefitting from very comfortable John Lewis sofas, 1 x 4 seater plus 2 x 2 seaters!)

There's lots to do in the local area too - you could visit Sherwood Forest - home of the legendary Robin Hood, look round the historic Southwell Minster and Archbishop's Palace Gardens or visit Southwell Workhouse and learn about the thought provoking history there. For younger visitors, White Post Farm, Wheelgate Adventure Park and Lockwood Hill Activity Centre are all close by.
